Maecor ApS is the data controller for the personal data described below.

WHAT WE COLLECT

When you place an order we collect your name, delivery and billing
address, email address, phone number, and the contents of your order.
We never see or store your full card details. Those go directly to our
payment provider.

When you contact us we collect your name, your email address, and
whatever you choose to write to us.

When you sign up for our emails we collect your email address, and
which of our emails you open and click.

When you visit the site we collect your IP address, your browser and
device type, which pages you visit, and how you arrived. Some of this
comes from cookies, which are covered further down.


HOW WE USE IT

We use your data to deliver your order, take payment, handle returns,
and answer your questions.

We keep records of your purchase because Danish bookkeeping law
requires us to.

If you have signed up, we use your email address to send you news about
new releases. You can unsubscribe at any time, and every email we send
contains a link to do so.

If you have accepted marketing cookies, we use data about your visit to
measure our advertising and to show you relevant ads.

We also use data to keep the site secure and to protect against fraud.


WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

We share it with the companies that help us run the shop: our
e-commerce platform, our payment providers, the carriers who deliver
your order, our email provider, and our accountant.

If you have accepted marketing cookies, we also share limited data
about your visit and your purchase with the advertising platforms we
use, so that we can measure and target our advertising.

We may disclose data where the law requires it.


TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EU

Some of the companies we work with process data in the United States.
Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the EU and US Data
Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual
Clauses.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

Order and transaction data is kept for five years from the end of the
financial year in which the order was placed, as Danish bookkeeping law
requires.

If you are signed up for our emails, we keep your data until you
unsubscribe, and delete it within [X] months after that.

Correspondence with us is kept for two years from our last exchange.

Cookies are kept for the lifetime of each cookie, which varies. The
details are in our cookie settings.


COOKIES

Cookies are small files stored on your device.

Necessary cookies make the shop work. They remember your cart, keep
your session, and protect the site. These are always on.

Statistics and marketing cookies are only set if you accept them. You
choose when you first visit the site. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. It does not affect
anything that was processed before you withdrew.


YOUR RIGHTS

Under the GDPR you have the right to see the data we hold about you, to
have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict how we process it,
to object to processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to
withdraw your consent at any time.

COMPLAINTS

If you think we are handling your data incorrectly, we would like to
hear from you first.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect
your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. The site runs
over an encrypted connection, and access to customer data is limited to
the people who need it.

We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top
shows when it was last revised.
